Claremont’s project focused on learning more about their students’ experience of the school as a precursor to revisioning the M.Div. curriculum. The process included four different activities: (1) a project for systematically listening to students, followed by a retreat to discuss and interpret the results; (2) a study of CST students over the preceding five years, including demographic information as well as attention to how students progress through the curriculum; (3) a report on the many ways spiritual formation happens at CST; and (4) a statement from faculty in each area of the curriculum about that area’s contribution to the curriculum.
